A Rollup Update has been released for Outlook 2016. This is a non-security update which contains 11 documented improvements and fixes.
Most notable fixes are:
- When you open an exception of recurring appointment series in Outlook online mode, the exception appointment displays incorrectly.
- If you connect by using the IMAP protocol, you may see the message reappears in the Draft folder occasionally after you send an email.
- Outlook 2016 freezes when you try to send an encrypted message that contains large attachments.
- MSI-based installations now also have an option to control default attachment state when you try to attach a cloud file.
Note: This update can be installed via Microsoft Update or the Update Now button when you are using Office 365 and updates Outlook to version 16.0.4615.1000 (msi-based installation) or 16.0.8625.2121 (Office 365 based installation).
