A Rollup Update has been released for Outlook 2013. This is a non-security update which contains 17 documented improvements and fixes.

This update has been superseded by KB2975838 which contains the exact same fixes and a fix for a crashing bug caused by the original November update KB3101488.

Most notable new changes and fixes are:

  • After you experience certain http errors such as a time-out in Outlook 2013, Outlook 2013 may not connect to the mail server.
  • Email messages in an IMAP account may display a size of 0 bytes and no attachment icon even when the message has attachments.
  • This update prevents the automatic upgrade from Office 2013 to Office 2016 for Click-to-Run (Office 365) installations when are connecting to an Exchange 2007 server or an Exchange environment without a properly configured AutoDiscover service.
