A Rollup Update has been released for Outlook 2016. This is a non-security update which contains 11 documented improvements and fixes. Office 365 subscribers also got 2 new features this month.
Most notable fixes are:
- When you change the recurrence pattern of an appointment in a SharePoint calendar, the SharePoint calendar is out of synchronization, and the appointment isn’t changed.
- The display names of root folders in the navigation pane are displayed in lowercase letters instead of the capitalization of specified letters.
- When you view the Free/Busy information, Outlook crashes occasionally.
Note: This update can be installed via Microsoft Update or the Update Now button when you are using Office 365 and updates Outlook to version 16.0.4471.1000 (msi-based installation) or 16.0.7571.2072 (Office 365 based installation).
