Outlook 2016 Update for December 2016

A Rollup Update has been released for Outlook 2016. This is a non-security update which contains 11 documented improvements and fixes. Office 365 subscribers also got 2 new features this month.

Most notable fixes are:

  • When you change the recurrence pattern of an appointment in a SharePoint calendar, the SharePoint calendar is out of synchronization, and the appointment isn’t changed.
  • The display names of root folders in the navigation pane are displayed in lowercase letters instead of the capitalization of specified letters.
  • When you view the Free/Busy information, Outlook crashes occasionally.

All Office 365 users in the Current Channel now also have support for SVG graphics in emails and have a new Insert Icons command.
