Outlook 2013 has been available for almost a year now and with time and updates some things have changed and new questions have been asked. So it was time to review the guide to reflect the changes and add the new questions.

Have you completed your final Holiday preparations already? Well, at least Outlook wise?

An update has been released for Outlook 2013 and can be downloaded and installed manually and not (yet) via Microsoft Update. It includes a fix for the Exchange 2007 connectivity issues which got introduced with the November Security update (KB2837618).

3 Hotfixes have been released for Outlook 2013 fixing a total of 8 issues. The most notable fix is for an issue where a shared Calendar shows up empty in a hybrid environment using Exchange on-premises and Exchange Online.

3 Hotfixes have been released for Outlook 2010 fixing a total of 11 issues. The most notable fix is for an issue which got introduced with Service Pack 2 where you receive lots of event log for Event 27 in the Windows Application Event Viewer.

Due to the MS13-105 security bulletin, all currently supported versions of Exchange got a Security Update or a Rollup Update. The only change in each update is the inclusion of the security updates identified in MS13-105.

Cumulative Update 3 for Exchange 2013 is now available for direct download. It contains a total of 23 documented fixes. The most notable fix is that Internet Explorer 11 no longer loads OWA Light instead of OWA Premium.

Update Rollup 3 for Exchange 2010 Service Pack 3 is now available for direct download. It contains a total of 24 documented fixes. The most notable fix is that Internet Explorer 11 no longer loads OWA Light instead of OWA Premium.
