Apple has released a new version of their iCloud Control Panel for Windows which also adds compatibility with Outlook 2016.
Windows Update KB3097877 crashes Outlook
A recent update for Windows may cause Outlook to crash. The update that causes this is KB3097877 and it appears to be limited to only some Windows 7 installations. The version of Outlook that you are using doesn’t seem to matter.

Cumulative Update 10 for Exchange 2013 is now available for direct download. This Cumulative Update contains 23 new fixes and all previously released fixes and security updates for Exchange 2013. This is also the minimum version of Exchange 2013 which supports coexistence with Exchange 2016.
