Outlook 2010 Hotfixes for November 2014

2 Hotfixes have been released which apply to Outlook 2010, fixing a total of 6 issues which haven’t been included in the most current Rollup Update


Hotfix KB2899529 for Outlook 2010
This hotfix contains 5 fixes for specific issues. Most notable fixes are:

  • In some scenarios, you cannot open certain attachments whose file name contains more than one period directly from an email item. 
  • An accepted invitation could end up in the delegate’s Calendar folder instead of the one of the manager when a custom form to schedule the meeting is being used.

Hotfix KB2726880 for Outlook 2010
After applying this hotfix, Outlook will no longer crash when you click Accept or Decline in an attached iCalendar (.ics) file that is missing the UID property.
