Cumulative Update 9 for Exchange 2013 is now available for direct download.
This Cumulative Update contains 23 new fixes and all previously released fixes and security updates for Exchange 2013.
The main focus of this release is on the following scenarios and issues:
- Changes to the OWA Forms Based Auth logoff experience; This fixes the TMG logoff issues introduced in CU1.
- KB3050877: Shared and Delegated Mailboxes can now be configured to keep a copy of emails sent from the mailbox by any of its members/delegates, instead of storing that item in the Sent Items folder of the member/delegates.
- KB3056817: When you access your mailbox by using Outlook Web App in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 environment, the first email message is selected and marked as read automatically.
When installing Exchange 2013 CU9, make sure you also explicitly execute:
setup.exe /PrepareAD /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
This command is being skipped since CU9 doesn’t contain any schema changes when compared to CU7 and CU8. However, CU9 does include RBAC changes which are otherwise not applied and the aforementioned improvements in KB3050877 will not work.
