Outlook 2013 Update for March 2014

An update has been released for Outlook 2013 which applies to both SP1 and non-SP1 installations. It can be downloaded and installed manually, but is also being offered via Microsoft Update.

Update:
Installing this update without having Service Pack 1 installed may result in a solid blue square for the Outlook 2013 icon on the Start Screen in Windows 8. While you could uninstall the update to solve the issue, better would be to install Service Pack 1 for Office 2013.

Update KB2863911 for Outlook 2013
This is a non-security update and contains a fix for the issue where Outlook can’t connect to a mailbox on an Exchange 2013 server after it has been moved from an Exchange 2010 server and Outlook is configured with Cached Exchange Mode enabled.

If you have Microsoft Update configured to also update other Microsoft applications, then this update will also also be offered via Microsoft Update or has already been updated automatically for you.

Note: This update does not apply to Office 365 installations of Office 2013 but maintenance updates are usually installed automatically within a few days or can be installed manually via the Update Now button.
